Abstract :
On account of the existing problems, which are complex, costly and difficult to maintain, in the bridge monitoring systems, we present a system based on the Zigbee technology. This article introduces the method of establishing the system from the perspective of practical implementation of hardware and software. We design the hardware using the TI´s CC2530 chip which is a Single-Chip solution for wireless sensor network .Our software is designed using Zigbee protocol stack. The self-organizing wireless network is able to collect various data of bridges, including acceleration, pressure, temperature, humidity. Experiment results validate its rationality and effectivity for bridge structure health monitoring.
