Abstract
With the development of 3D scanning, 3D models become very common in our daily life. And it has been applied in many areas, such as virtual reality, digital city, online community, games and so on. Because of the constraint of network bandwidth, the transmission of 3D models falls behind. In the past decade, this field draws more and more attention. However lots of researchers focus on mesh without texture. In practice, texture is very essential in enhancing reality. In this paper we purpose a new texture processing scheme over progressive streaming transmission. The method consumes less network bandwidth and works efficiently.
