Abstract :
PFCs are used as surfactants and lubricants in industrial production and have caused global environmental pollution. In recent years, a lot of toxic actions have been found, such as hepatotoxicity, immunotoxicity, reproductive toxicity, which posed a serious threat to human health. Data of perfluorooctanoate (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS) in water samples, including coastal water, surface water, river water, tap water, and aquatic biota from China were collected and analyzed for risk assessment. Results showed that present contamination of PFOA and PFOS in most areas would not be a risk for human health.
