Abstract :
It has been indicated that the output and the generated energy of the photovoltaic power systems connected with a power grid are smaller than the maker´s specification. Thus, research has been conducted into two evaluation methods regarding output and generated energy applying a creating method of the I-V curve in various irradiance and cell temperature conditions using the characteristic values of photovoltaic module. The first method uses the photovoltaic cells separated from a grid, and the second method uses the photovoltaic cells under the inter-connected state. Additionally, the evaluation method of the generated energy by the photovoltaic cells conversion efficiency is described. Furthermore, it is mentioned that the actual application result used the photovoltaic cells. Among these methods, the conversion efficiency method is little influenced by large solar radiation fluctuation and the evaluation of the electrical quantity mostly stabilized through a year can be performed.
