  • Abstract
Based on equivalent linear treatment of the gas force load, the mathematical model of motor system was established. Then, the effect of gas force load and operating frequency on the power factor was investigated. The predicted analysis was validated by corresponding experimental and simulated results. The results shown that maximum power factor is obtained when the operating frequency near the mechanical resonant frequency. But the two frequency points are not equal, and the offset has relationship with gas force load. In order to improve the power factor when operating frequency is near the mechanical resonant frequency, the linear model of actual system with compensation capacitor was also researched on the basis of detailed study.
