  • Abstract
    SSF (scalable simulation framework) based network simulation package is a kind of network simulation tool with open source software which consists of various simulation applications. It has been designed considering expansion of network elements including topology, protocols, traffic, and et al, so that it is able to support large-scale network simulation such as Internet. However it is not easy for users to build network simulation model because network modeling process must be done just manually by users themselves. Therefore, many errors caused by user´s mistakes are apt to occur in modeling process and the users can not recognize these errors easily. This problem makes it difficult to create complicated network simulation model. In this paper, we design a network modeling component available for SSF based network simulation package. The network modeling component can be used for users to build network simulation model effectually and reuse the models.
