Abstract :
Tilted and conventional perpendicular recording has been proposed as an effective method for recording densities beyond 100 Gbit/in/sup 2/. Recent study have shown the recording densities were limited, to large extend, by the anisotropy magnitude distribution In this paper, we study the effects of distributions in detail utilizing both analyses and micromagnetic simulations.
