Abstract :
Abstract-At present, the problems of the coordinate conversion in vehicle navigation, target location and guidance have become increasingly striking. Because GPS adopts the WGS-84(World Geodetic System 84) coordinate system, while various types of electronic maps usually adopt the BJ-54 coordinate system(Beijing Geodetic Coordinate System l954), in China, we must convert the coordinate system so as to avoid the deviation of the locating data. This paper mainly discusses the mathematical models for conversion among different coordinate reference systems and the coordinate projection transformation, then gives the transformation algorithms in detail, finally, the Visual C#.NET 2003 has been chosen to compile the coordinate conversion program, which computes the data of a practical example. According to the test of the practical measurement, the effects of these algorithms are satisfying , which provide the reliable evidence for proving the feasibility of this method.
