Abstract
In communication systems, an attractive approach for economical, spectrally efficient, and high quality digital cellular and personal communication services is the use of code division multiple access (CDMA) technology with spatial diversity made possible by multiple antennas at the transmitter and the receiver (MIMO-multiple input multiple output). In order to study the feasibility of the hardware implementation, a rapid prototyping platform is realized under Mathworks´ Simulink and Xilinx´s system generator. The developed platform offers rapid evaluation of implementation performances over different simulation conditions
