Abstract :
Third generation networks are fast evolving towards all-IP. Conventional IP was designed to work in a static network and is not sufficient to handle the mobility of IP nodes across subnets. To solve this problem, IETF has proposed a solution called Mobile IP, which bridges these gaps to facilitate convergence. The paper describes our experience in integrating the Mobile IP stack with the cdma2000 network. Further, the paper also covers the test framework for testing Mobile IP in a CDMA network.
