Abstract :
A digital imaging device is presented, which allows one-shot acquisition of high-resolution color images. A color depth of 12 bit is provided due to effective noise reduction and pixel correction circuitry. For image compression a wavelet-based algorithm is implemented, which exhibits no visible degradation of image quality at intended compression rates
