Abstract :
A reconfigurable modular image capture system has been developed with close integration of the CCD sensor, image capture and image processing. This paper describes the architecture of the system, its advantages and possible applications. A novel interconnection system is used to provide the modularity and reconfigurability. The system is being used to investigate linear measurements to subpixel resolutions
