Abstract

In this paper, a framework for the information management system of Mandarin test (IMSMT) is presented. The IMSMT consist of functional models that are registration, draw straws, test online, upload speech file, grade online, results release, record, examiner management. This three-layer system framework is based on the J2EE technologies. The principles of data structure design were discussed. The system can provide a user-friendly working environment with many advantageous functions such as save time, improve efficiency, and accelerate the promotion and popularization of mandarin. The system has passed Chinese Ministry of Education appraisal in 2009.
