Abstract
The paper describes some of the more urgent problems faced by developers of multiparty, interactive services for the intranet and Internet. It then goes on to show how applying the TINA architecture, concepts, principles and technology could solve these problems and bring the rapid development of interactive, multiparty services to the Internet. Research within BT Labs has implemented the Experimental Service Platform (ESP) to allow rapid multiparty services for use within its intranet. The platform comprises both a service runtime, as well as a service developer´s kit containing tools and APIs
