Abstract :
In this paper, a.c. permittivity is measured using various experimental conditions on a test-case oxide glass. Data obtained using metallic contacts or insulating barriers, i.e. 10 mum thin films of PTFE, placed on both sides of the sample, are compared. The influences of the thermal environment, i.e. iso versus non-iso thermal, and of the application of a constant dc electric field, i.e. BIAS, are investigated.
