Abstract :
We consider the final stage of ionization cooling of muons, realized with the use of bent current-carrying lithium-beryllium rods, providing an optimum correlation between the cooling rates in all tree directions and minimum value of 6-dimensional emittance. The matching of lattice functions in a rod with those in accelerator structure is considered
