Abstract :
Differential copper serial links for high-speed data communication shorter than 20 meters are still a cost effective solution within a telecom system. Many of the transmission characteristics have to be taken into consideration when transmitting data with Gbit/s data rate. Several issues are discussed about the measuring methods and modelling techniques both for SI and EMI issues.
