Abstract :
A method of real-time infrared scene simulation is presented. First, an Infrared Simulation System is designed and accomplished. Second, the infrared image is simulated, using VAGE standard texture library and calculating the attenuation effect of atmosphere. Finally, the infrared scene is constructed using three-dimensional technology and the key technology of real-time roam is realized. The experiment results show that the infrared image simulated by our system corresponds with the infrared image taken by an infrared camera, and an effective way for constructing infrared image database of target area is provided.
