  • Abstract
    The emergence of radio frequency identification (RFID) based tags gives the foreground to link all physical objects in the next generation networks and trace their movements through entire life process, it even provides the background for the implementation of ubiquitous computing applications. Based on the pervasive RFID tags, architecture of SOA-oriented RFID network is presented, We point out its potential application area such as in airport. Moreover, the design concepts, detail illustration of the components especially the location tracking Web service (LTWS) in the proposed framework are described and advantages of the whole framework are summarized. Furthermore, one design and implement of the RFID reader for demonstrating the location tracking services in the framework is also brought forward.
