Abstract
The improbable potential of photonisation in today´s fibre-optical networks where one optical fibre can support up to 300,000 phone calls simultaneously. But all power completely developed of photonisation reaches far for these limits. While electrons can transfer the information consistently, one after another, with photons there is no virtual limit on number of information packages which can be simultaneously transferred. For example, it has been estimated, that the photon Internet can transfer data with a speed 160Gb/s, that in thousand times is faster, than typical modern high-speed connections. Other opportunity is an optical computer, which can solve for seconds a problem which classical computers would process months, and even years.
