Abstract :
The authors describe motivations for CECIL group creation, its objectives, its organization and its test facilities. CECIL is a group created by CNES with Matra Marconi Space, CERT, Alcatel Espace and Aerospatiale. The main objective of the group is to coordinate the heavy ion electronic component characterizations. This will allow: test facilities optimization, test duplication avoidance, and cost reduction
