Abstract :
The optically modulated scatterer (OMS) can be used to measure the standing wave distribution of microwave electromagnetic fields with minimum intrusiveness. This paper reports the measurement by OMS of a new commercially developed pyramidal ferrite absorber between 2 GHz and 18 GHz. The results are analysed and compared with those by other RF and microwave measurement methods.
