Abstract :
In this paper, we prove that conventional method, Netwon Raphson is able to find multiple load flow solutions when the initial search point is initialized randomly within a certain range. Numerical experiments on two example systems (5-bus and 7-bus) show that the proposed algorithm can be used as efficient guide for simultaneously and globally searching multiple solutions regions. The simplicity of the concept based on incorporating a population consisting of candidate solutions with random initial search space.
