Abstract :
According to the Actual demand and present development of the public transportation management system in domestic, with the GPS technology, it is proposed about an applying to the public transport monitoring system based on WSN, and designed for the intelligent public transportation monitoring system based on WSN. In the paper, it is introduced of the system´s composition structure and Working principle, and detailed explained about the system´s software and hardware design and the routing protocol of WSN based on GIS. Experiments show that it is strong practicability and reliability of data transmission, at the same time, compared with the current monitoring system based on GPRS and GPS technology, it is greatly reduced the operating price.
