  • Abstract
    The airflow field and CO migration during the construction ventilation of underground powerhouse, taking into account influences of the branch tunnel and the main transformer chamber, are simulated using a 3-D transient single phase model. The effect of branch tunnel on the migration of airflow field and CO is analyzed. The results show that different positions of branch tunnels have different effect on the distribution of airflow field and CO, but they only exit nearby the branch tunnel.
