Abstract :
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro (NLH) is presently operating a full-scale test site to monitor wind and ice loads on a nonenergized test transmission line. A data acquisition program written in C, and a data analysis and presentation program in MATLAB are being used to obtain and analyze the field data. This paper discusses these programs, as they relate to the wind and ice load study
