Abstract :
In this paper we report on a high power, high repetition-rate picosecond regenerative amplifier using Nd:YVO4 as the laser-active material. With recently developed electrooptic modulators (EOM) of BBO, the system generates average powers exceeding the 10 watt level at repetition-rates of up to 20 kHz.
