  • Abstract
Web Services is acting as a promising technology for the effective automation of application integration. It is necessary to find the more suitable Web Services for both human and applications. Existing discovery mechanisms are based on either WSDL or WSDL+OWL. The limitations of both description methods lead to less accuracy. A promoted discovery model is proposed in this paper, which is also based on SO A. In the proposed model, ontology is built to descript both function and non-function attributes of the services, and the similarity-matching algorithm based on ontology is proposed. UDDIldquos extendability plays an important role in the model, which makes descriptive method and matching algorithm work together.
