  • Abstract
To resolve the problem of surface protection in hot stamping of ultra high-strength steel, a multifunctional coating with the effects of high temperature oxidation resistance, lubrication, mold release and thermal conductivity is prepared. The surface of the steel is protected from oxidation greater than 91.5% by the developed coating, which could steadily exist more than 10 minutes within 1200 °C. At 950 °C , friction coefficient of the multifunctional coating is less than 0.11. As the advantage of avoiding crack, wrinkling and ensuring the forming precision, the developed multifunctional coating has high production value.
