Abstract
The paper presents a methodology to provide behavioral description starting with TINA ODL. It defines a mapping from TINA ODL to the ITU-T specification and description language SDL. SDL guarantees a formal and executable semantics for behavior and a smooth development process from computational viewpoint to engineering viewpoint. Experience in using this technology for implementing parts of the TINA service architecture is provided
