Abstract
The aim is to establish the small-signal model of the fundamental topologies of resonance convertors, namely the voltage-booster, the voltage-bucker and the buck-and-boost operating with switching at zero current or zero voltage and at half-wave or full-wave. The method used for this modelling is that of current injection which enables parasitic elements, namely the resistances of the inductor and capacitor, to be included easily. This approach is shown to be much simpler than that of the averaged state space. The results are validated by comparison with those given in the literature and obtained by the averaged state space method
