Abstract :
The presented model describes the correlation between costs and component parameters, such as component type and specification for electric motors, inverters and energy storages. This paper takes a focus on already developed electric drivetrains in the product design process. The method used in the model, is based on physical relationships considering the state of the art and the application context. The presented model allows analyzing the influence on costs caused by changes in the requirements for components of electric propulsion systems. Therefore it perfectly supports the design process of electric motors, inverters and energy storages.
