Abstract
Zero-Current-switching (ZCS) resonant DC-DC power converters have been widely used in industry. They feature simple structure, small size, high efficiency, and reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI). A novel ZCS resonant power converter is proposed and two voltage control strategies applicable to the proposed power converter are studied. Principles of operation of the power converter are described, and computer simulation and experimental results for both control strategies are presented. The output voltage regulation and the converter efficiency were measured under various load and input voltage conditions. The results are presented in the paper
