Abstract :
One strain of algicidal bacterium selected from the eutrophication water body had good algicidal effects on Microcystis aeruginosa. The strain was identified as Ochrobactrum sp.. Its algicidal characteristics showed that the temperature, pH and illumination could influence the algicidal efficiency. The experiment on algicidal mechanism showed that it lysed the algae cells by secreting metabolites.
