            Abstract :
In this paper, an interaction-enable application layer multicast protocol is introduced for a scalable live teaching system. With a simple and effective interaction-enable algorithm, the proposed protocol abates the additional application layer relay time to enable the video and audio interactive behavior, which takes an important part in a collaborative learning scenario. Besides, the peculiar join request distribution of the learner in live teaching is also considered, and a new client admission algorithm is adopted in the protocol to enhance the judgment efficiency. Based on the above approaches, a real live teaching system is realized.
