Abstract :
The pollution of petroleum hydrocarbon in groundwater system has become a serious environmental problem. In this paper, we take Jinan refinery as an example to discuss the composition and migration mechanism of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants. Based on filed survey and laboratory experiments, we researched the adsorption and desorption of petroleum hydrocarbons and the migration mechanism of them in the aeration zone. We have found that the migration mechanism of petroleum hydrocarbons in groundwater was related to the content of petroleum hydrocarbon, composition of groundwater, structure of water-bearing petrofabric and the interaction of them. In the research area, the petroleum hydrocarbons migrate mainly in form of floating oil and in direction of northwest.
