Abstract

In this paper, we present management system of metropolis energy information (MSMEI) that manages the information of water meter, electricity meter and gas meter, the three basic elements of a city. In contrast to the traditional system as "single-user" program for collecting data, we have founded an architecture offering surprisingly strong support for cooperation among different workgroups. CSCW allows different workgroups to collaborate on goals including improving data reliability and accuracy, improving working efficiency, reducing labor cost, etc.
