Abstract :
High-order Stokes and anti-Stokes stimulated scattering due to the known optical vibration mode and in addition at 320 cm-1 have been observed. The construction of a new highly efficient second-Stokes Raman laser indicates that it is a general method to extend the number of possible Raman laser wavelengths with large wavelength separation from the fundamental pump.
