Abstract :
Today´s network infrastructures are inadequate to cover the needs of small groups or new requirements that pop up daily, due to the ever-increasing demand for more sophisticated services. Place-oriented virtual private networks (VPNs) are based on agent technology and can be built on top of an existing infrastructure by any user. We expect that, in the future, this flexible, dynamic and low-cost approach, which supports not only group working but also advanced services for commercial needs, will be in great use.
