Abstract :
Methods for ice concentration estimation with passive microwave instrument data by means of inversion techniques as well as an adaptive local inversion method are proposed. The experimental results with DMSP/SSM/I data show better accuracy through a comparison to the existing methods, NASA, Comiso algorithms
