Abstract :
In order to assess and determine the general issues and barriers in online distance education this research focuses in assessing the impact of learners learning style and strategies and based on these results proposes solutions and recommendations. The data for this research was gathered from interviews with focus group and a web based survey of students, participants in online distance education courses. The main contribution of this study is the proposed DEVC methodology and recommendations in avoiding the assessed and evaluated barriers in distance education in regards with enhanced and lifelong learning.
