Abstract :
Applying the optimal control to the large scale systems is difficult due to their high dimensionality, nonlinearity, coupling, time delay and etc.. In this paper we introduce two near optimum method (Aggregation and perturbation methods) to control the large scaled systems. The proposed controls are applied to a synchronous turbo generator as case study. MATLAB/SIMULINK based simulations are carried out to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
