Abstract
A dynamic model of a micro gas turbine generator by using a causal ordering graph is proposed in this paper. This particular graphical representation is used to highlight the causal order of all mathematical equations. It is shown that the obtained model is interesting for developing a Matlab Simulink model and for designing the control strategy. In order to control the power flow a second model is designed to describe energy variations in the inertia and losses. Then we demonstrate that this model is sufficient to design the control system of the turbine. The control system is then simulated with the help of Matlab-Simulinktrade, by considering a 30 kW turbine
