Abstract :
The synthetical conditions of 1,1´-ferrocene-dimethanol were investigated using 1,1´-ferrocenedicarboxylic acid as raw material. The effects of the component ratio, solvent, reaction temperature, time on the product yield have been discussed and the optimum technological conditions have been obtained. using 1,4-dioxane as solvent, the ratio of n(dicarboxylic acid):n(LiAlH4)=1:10, reaction time 4.0h, reaction temperature 90°C, The product yield was 89.9%.
