Abstract :
A novel high speed spindle based on full supported Aerostatic bearing is put forward to improve spindle´s static state stiffness and loading capacity. A finite element method is employed to analyze the dynamic characteristics of spindle. The fluid-solid coupled analysis with ANSYS software is developed for the analysis of the static stiffness of spindle, compared with two dimensional FEM, the calculation accuracy is improved greatly. At last, an experiment system for static and dynamic performance of high-speed spindle based on full supported Aerostatic bearing was built up and the theoretical analysis is verified with the experimental results.
