Abstract :
The fuzzy shortest path problem in a network has received much attention from researchers because of its importance to various applications. It purposes to offer a decision maker the shortest path in a network with fuzzy arc lengths. In this paper, we develop a new approach to deal with fuzzy shortest path problem in a network in which each arc length is represented as a triangular fuzzy number. This approach can be utilized to deal with fuzzy shortest path problem without some shortcomings that appeared in other related researches. An illustrative example is also included to demonstrate our proposed approach.
