  • Abstract
    Wireless communication is the base of the Cooperative Vehicular and Infrastructure System (CVIS). The IEEE 802.11n and 802.11p are both the candidate technologies for the Cooperative Vehicular and Infrastructure System. For the requirement of the Cooperative Vehicular and Infrastructure System, an empirically comparative analysis has been made. Through the transmission distance test, the vehicle occlusion test, the driver blind spot corner test, and the vehicle motion test to analyze the different communication performances between the vehicular nodes. At the last, the conclusion has been put forward about the comparative analysis.
