Abstract :
This paper analyzed deep-seated problems which existed during the information technology application in the manufacturing enterprises, and explored the relationship between the application of information system and the promotion of management system. By studying the preconditions of the application of information system and the guarantees which the industrial engineering offers in the manufacturing enterprises, the relationships between the information technology or information system and the industrial engineering system were constructed. Then the concept and contents of integrated management platform were proposed, and the way which industrial engineering plays a vital role under the information environment was founded, as well as the methods and policies of information technology application based on industrial engineering. The aim is to give a guideline that the manufacturing enterprises can use the scientific thinking and methodology to implement advanced information system to enhance the competitiveness.
