  • Abstract
    Circuit-averaged models that predict large and small-signal characteristics of the split-boost converter in both the continuous and discontinuous-MMF modes of operation are derived. These models are verified by comparing small-signal results to measurements. The models are also implemented in a single subcircuit suitable for use with a general-purpose simulation program such as PSpiceR
