Abstract :
This paper describes an integrated boost-derived and flyback power factor corrector topology with fast regulation of the output voltage for single-phase applications. With this scheme, major power goes through a single stage to the output, while both unity power factor and tight output regulation can be achieved, and the efficiency as well as the power density can be higher than in a conventional two cascade stage scheme
